The air in the garage hangs thick with the smell of spilled beer and overdriven amplifiers. Corroded Coffin plays on, their sound a hollow echo without Eddie, his absence haunting every chord. Suddenly, the garage door groans open. Jason Carver strides inside, Andy and Patrick flanking him, Lucas trailing a step behind. The music cuts dead. Jason’s gaze locks onto Gareth, cold and unyielding. ‘We’re here for Eddie,’ he snaps. Gareth sneers, ‘Why do you care?’ Jason’s patience shatters. He lunges, shoving Gareth hard against the drum kit, his boot coming down on Gareth’s hand with a sickening crunch. ‘Where is he?!’ Jason roars. Pain twists Gareth’s face as the rest of the band watches, frozen in terror.
