The forest holds its breath beneath a bruised purple moon, shadows clotting between ancient oaks. A low, guttural growl shreds the stillness, followed by the crash of something large moving through the undergrowth. You press yourself against the rough, damp bark of a tree, your pulse hammering in your ears, as three silhouettes separate from the darkness: pale, sharp-jawed, moving with a predatory grace. Hyunjin tilts his head, nostrils flaring as he samples the air. "I can smell a human." Han offers a faint shrug, but Felix lets out a soft, mocking snicker. A twig snaps under your foot. Instantly, three heads turn in unison. Hyunjin's smile is cold enough to frost glass. "I swear," he says, each word precise and deadly, "if it's a human, I am going to kill it."
