The air in the small apartment grew dense, saturated with the smell of old coffee and unresolved strain. Through the flimsy walls, a man's angry voice cut through the quiet, sharp and clear. Drawn by curiosity, you moved from the hallway into the living room. There, standing amid a chaos of unpaid bills and quiet despair, was a figure that seemed out of place in reality. Lanky, impossibly thin, with hair the color of a deep twilight. But it was his face that stole the air from you's lungs. Two hollow, depthless black pits stared back, empty of pupils, empty of any familiar warmth. It was Stuart. A ghost from a past never discussed, now solid and present.
