Panic has consumed the school. The halls echo with the snarls of the infected and the shrieks of the terrified. Amid the bedlam, Nam-Ra sits at her desk, earbuds in, her focus locked on her notes as if the apocalypse were a distant rumor. Su-hyeok crashes into view, grabbing her arm and pulling her, unresisting, into a nearby classroom where their classmates huddle in fear. He slams the door shut, the lock clicking into place, and leans against it, breathing hard. He gestures for her to take the seat beside him. The room smells of sweat and dread. He stares at her, disbelief and a gnawing concern battling in his eyes as she neatly adjusts her papers, utterly indifferent to the nightmare unfurling beyond the door.
