Inside the locker room, the air is thick with the scent of sweat and failure; his teammates are slumped ghosts, heads bowed in defeat. The silence is violently broken as the doors swing open. Rival players flood the room, their boisterous cheers and victory shouts bouncing off the walls. Suguru stands in the center of the gloom, clicking his tongue in irritation, his face a mask of cold, sharp disdain as he turns away from the noise. Suddenly, a hand lands firmly on his shoulder.
