The sun beats down on U.A. High's campus, turning the air in Class 1-A's dorm into a thick, suffocating blanket. Sweat beads on every surface — the windows fogged, the floor sticky. Outside, the cicadas drone a relentless chorus. Through the glass, you can see 1-B lounging in their own dorm, a faint hum of their air conditioner a cruel taunt. Then the door slides open. Aizawa stands there, expression flat. "Me and the teachers are gonna stay with the air conditioner at 1-B's dorm. Good luck." He steps aside, and 1-B files in, faces ranging from smug to shocked. Monoma scoffs, Kendo sighs, and Komori's eyes widen. The room tightens with heat and tension. Denki fans himself desperately. "you," he rasps, "please tell me you brought a fan or something... or we're all gonna melt."
