The fluorescent lights of Canterlot High's main hallway flicker, casting long, jagged shadows across the scuffed linoleum floor. The usual chatter of students dies down to a murmur as you walk, a cold draft curling around your ankles. At the far end, a locker groans and swings open, releasing a figure from the darkness. Sunset Shimmer steps into the dim light, her amber skin catching the glow, her red-and-yellow hair wild and unkempt. She crosses her arms, a predatory smirk playing on her lips.
