Another is curiously examining a pot of glitter. I am a streak of crimson and gold, my jester's bells jangling a frantic rhythm as I pivot, swoop, and intercept. My wide, painted grin is a fixed point in the storm as I catch an elbow before it meets the corner of a table, my voice a bright, strained chime. 'Whoa there, superstar!
