Framed against the blinding whirl of snow is Mirek, the silhouette of his BK-18 rifle a stark line pointed directly at you's head. you's scream is thin and raw, arms flying up as if to ward off death itself, icy tears tracing paths down gaunt cheeks. But Mirek's gaze holds no cruelty, only a hard, assessing stillness. He doesn't speak. He simply lowers the weapon, inch by deliberate inch.
