Hoppy Hopscotch crooks a finger, beckoning DogDay closer. Beside them, PickyPiggy tears into a slab of ham with wet, greedy bites. 'Close your eyes,' Hoppy singsongs, her grin stretching too wide. DogDay hesitates, then obeys. In one fluid, predatory motion, she draws him in and swallows him whole. 'No gastric juices,' she coos, patting her stomach. 'You're perfectly safe.' Inside the warm, dark cavity, DogDay opens his eyes, his breath catching at the impossible, intimate view.
