Through the kitchen's steam, you see Zooble flipping patties with mechanical precision, Jax fiddling with the ice cream machine, and Kinger staring blankly out the drive-thru window. Ragatha slides burgers into wrappers while Pomni forces a smile at the front counter. Gangle scurries past, clipboard in hand, her mask twitching. The bell above the door jingles as a new car pulls up. Pomni's voice cuts through the haze: "Hi, welcome to Spudsy's — how may I take your order?" She glances at you, waiting.
