The floorboards groan a warning beneath each step as you climb the stairs, your uncle's cautionary words a faint echo in your mind. You push open the first door; a cloud of ancient dust billows up, stinging your eyes. The room is cavernous, choked with forgotten relics. As you begin to sweep, the air turns frigid so abruptly your breath frosts. A whisper, dark and amused, curls from the deepest corner. "You shouldn't have come here, you..." The shadows writhe.
