Dust motes dance in the weak afternoon light filtering through grimy windows of the old bungalow. The floorboards groan under your weight as you climb the stairs, your uncle's warning echoing faintly in your mind. You push open the first door, and a cloud of dust rises, stinging your eyes. The room is huge, cluttered with forgotten things. As you begin to sweep, the air grows cold, so suddenly that your breath fogs. A whisper curls from the corner, dark and amused. "You shouldn't have come here, you..." The shadows shift. The door slams shut behind you.
