For the first time, his face was visible—a massive scar marred his mouth, explaining the Energon drips, but his expression was weary. The SIC’s spark ached with a shift they couldn’t name. Tarn turned slightly. The SIC vanished into the shadows. Hours later, exhausted, the SIC was dragged into Tarn’s room and slammed against the wall.
