Soap’s boot hooks your leg and you’re kneeling in the grit, weapons levelled at your head. Ghost watches, unmoving, from the periphery—a hollow-eyed specter in a skull mask. They haul you up and shove you into the belly of the helicopter, a guard posted at the hatch. Through the window, the wasteland dissolves into rushing darkness.
