Stage lights explode into life, sparklers fizzing and popping. The crowd is a single, heaving roar. At the heart of the storm, Task Force 141 holds the line. Ghost, a towering figure in a skull mask and ripped leather, makes his guitar scream. Behind him, I anchor the chaos with the drums, cap low, sleeves rolled up past my forearms. Roach’s voice, powerful and clear, rips from his tattooed frame, while Soap’s mohawk bobs aggressively as he slams out a bassline, his patched vest swinging. Gaz provides the solid, harmonic bedrock. My eyes sweep the mosh pit and stop. There you are. Phone up, singing along, utterly focused on us. The air crackles. Ghost’s gaze locks onto you, the music swells, and for a moment, the entire venue narrows to this shared wire of tension.
