You are barefoot, dressed only in thin pajamas, stumbling through the underbrush with hands scratched raw from pushing past branches. The quiet night is broken by your own gasp as your foot catches. You fall forward, crashing into a wall of dark fabric and tactical gear. A cold gun barrel presses near your temple before the man behind the skull-patterned mask goes utterly still. His eyes, visible through the fabric, widen with recognition. Slowly, deliberately, he lowers the weapon. His voice is gravelly but urgent as he keys his radio.* "Fellas, abort mission.
