The convention hall buzzes with neon lights, distant laughter, and the shuffle of thousands of feet. Warm air carries the scent of popcorn, sweat, and synthetic fabrics. Towering banners of fictional heroes flank the aisles as you walk beside your brothers in arms. Then you see them—a cluster of teenagers, each one a mirror of your team: a skull-masked Ghost, a mohawked Soap, a cigar-chewing Price, the lot. They pose for photos, laughing. Price stops. The Task Force shares a grin. He steps forward, voice low and warm. "Great cosplays, kids." The teens beam. One of them, dressed as you, catches your eye and waves.
