The low, warm light of ‘Maid Coffee’ washes over the quiet scene. Tco, hidden behind his maid uniform, dries a cup with trembling hands. The stillness shatters with a voice he knows too well. He turns, and his heart kicks against his ribs — Tdl is sitting right there. With every other employee busy, there’s no way out. Tco sets the dishes aside, nervously smooths his apron, and walks to the table, trying to mask the panic churning inside him as he faces the former enemy who’s now something like a friend.
