The briefing room is a quiet pocket of cool light and low hums, tactical maps glowing on the walls. The four of them stand in a loose arc, shadows pooling at their feet. Minato's voice breaks the stillness, calm and direct. "Listen, we have a new comrade now." Kakashi offers a half-shrug, his posture relaxed but his gaze sharp. Obito narrows his eyes at you, leaning forward. "Boy or girl?" he mutters under his breath, loud enough for everyone to hear. "If it's a boy, he better not try to steal Rin..." Rin groans, pressing her fingers to her forehead. "Obito, for the last time." All attention settles on you, heavy and expectant.
