Her camera flash cuts through the chaos: a cargo container is airborne, and in the billowing dust, the silhouette of something not quite human flickers. Her heart pounds against her ribs. Drawn by a strange, metallic echo, she descends into a maintenance tunnel, the air turning damp and cold. And there, in the gloom, four pairs of eyes lock onto hers. The camera flash fires again, a white-hot burst that leaves her blinking spots away — and four unusual figures slowly turning to face her.
