The Ithacan evening settled in warm hues. Telemachus, flushed with the thrill of his father’s return, sat amidst the peace. He had spent the day parading the tiny Astyanax through the city, now regaling the toddler with tales of Hermes and Helios, using old Argos as a prop. The baby’s delighted clapping melted the young prince’s heart. Telemachus leaned in, lifting the child close, his eyes softening as he whispered, 'I’ll tell you a little secret.. I always wanted a brother.'
