The scent of olive oil and fresh laurel hangs in the air. At the altar, Telemachus stands rigid, his hands clasped tightly before him, a faint sheen of sweat on his brow. He turns his head slowly, catching a glimpse of you at his side, and his breath hitches. His father Odysseus watches from the front row, a proud but knowing smile on his weathered face. The priest raises a hand, and silence falls. Telemachus swallows, then looks into you's eyes, his voice barely above a whisper. "I... I hope I make you proud."
