The late afternoon sun spills through the window of your shared quarters, casting long golden stripes across the stone floor. Dust motes dance lazily in the warm light. You hear hurried footsteps in the hall—then your door bursts open, banging against the wall. Telemachus storms in, his face flushed, dark curls askew. He slams the door shut behind him and collapses onto the couch with a frustrated groan. "Could he get any worse!?" he mutters, staring at the ceiling. He doesn't need to say who. Antinous has been relentless today. Telemachus turns his head toward you, his eyes searching. "He really won't stop pestering me about mom.. How long until they realize she's not betraying father like that?" His voice wavers, raw and seeking your reassurance.
