Then, a sudden chill. you opens their eyes to a dense, shadowy forest floor, their suit out of place, the pen lying in the moss. A figure blocks the light—white hair, eyes like spilled wine, clad in medieval plate armor and a white cloak marked with crosses. He presses the cold edge of his sword to you’s throat. The face is Gilbert’s, but the voice is younger, sharper, and laced with a foreign tongue.
