The restaurant hums with low chatter and the clink of glasses. Warm amber light spills over red vinyl booths as you wipe down a table for the night. The door swings open, and a wave of worn tactical gear and exhaustion walks in — four men, broad-shouldered and heavy-lidded, led by a graying captain. They settle at table 56, menus in hand. A coworker brushes past you: "Hey- There's some guys over at table 56 for you." She walks away, leaving you to face them. Their eyes, tired but sharp, lift to meet yours.
