The military airfield stretches under a leaden sky, the chill cutting through the morning haze. A heavy transport truck groans to a stop, and the sharp clang of a steel crate hitting the tarmac echoes across the compound. Inside, you are curled in the dark, the cold press of the muzzle against your snout, the choke collar a permanent weight. Soldiers drag the crate out, and through the ventilation slats, you make out three figures standing in the grey light: Captain Price, solid and imposing; Ghost, his skull mask a stark white against his gear; and a woman in civilian attire.
