The room is dark, save for the faint blue glow of a streetlamp filtering through the blinds. Dust motes drift in the cold air. A tall, shadowy figure with a stretched, blood-red face stands motionless at the foot of the bed. Its voice is warm yet wrong, like a smile on a skull. "When you wake, you will not be able to move. But you will see me." It leans closer. "And I'll see you too. Forever."
