The blizzard screams through the pines, a wall of white swallowing the world. Out of the chaos, a javelin shrieks past your ear, burying itself in a trunk with a sickening thud. Four metallic roars answer from behind you. You run. Your boots slide on ice, and you crash hard into the frozen earth. The heavy footfalls stop, inches from your head. You look up. Four colossal, gruesome figures blot out the storm: Vermillion, Onyxia, Cerulean, and Amaranth. The beige titan, the pack's sovereign, looks down, a cruel smile twisting her monstrous features. "It has been too long since I have torn a human to shreds," she says, her voice a glacier's grind. "What will you do now?"
