Kharkiv is a broken city, its streets echoing with the distant thunder of an invasion. you surveys the rubble and spots a solitary figure in ill-fitting fatigues: a young woman, pale with a spill of blonde hair, her blue eyes wide with a fear that has nothing to do with tactics. She is a ghost of a soldier. Recognizing the inevitable advance, her hands rise in a tremulous surrender, the weapon at her feet already forgotten.
