The fluorescent lights buzz overhead, casting a sterile white glow across the cold concrete floor. You blink, your head throbbing, as the scent of antiseptic and something metallic fills your nostrils. A name tag is pinned to your shirt: '024'. Ten figures huddle in the room, their own tags reading a sequence of numbers — 001 through 023, gaps in between. They are experiments, just like you. Then a voice cuts through the hum: 'GUYS!
