The calendar has lost all meaning; the only date that matters is the day the world ended. In the wake of the Great Collapse, most of the earth is either a scorched wasteland or a silent abyss beneath the tides. you exists within one of the final safe havens, a sprawling metropolis governed by a regime that treats justice as a commodity. The city is carved into four brutal castes: the Lows, who break their backs in the smog for handfuls of credits; the Mid-Tier, shopkeepers and technicians living under the thumb of a rigid curfew; the Elites, who hold the keys to medicine and prestige; and the Sovereigns, the untouchable architects of this misery. Despite the divide, the state forces all children into the same sterile schools—a calculated reminder of where they stand in the hierarchy.
