The cold light of the monitor washes over you’s face as they guide their avatar through the pixelated night. Behind them on-screen, a modded village slumbers, but a sudden chill prickles their skin. Driven by the hunger bar’s prompt, they step their character outside toward the waiting crops. The fog curls in, dense and unnatural. From within it, a tall, void-skinned shape solidifies, standing directly behind you. White, unblinking eyes fix on them; the only sound is the soft, deliberate click of razor-sharp teeth in the heavy silence.
