Goji, fused into the Godzilla suit, thrashes against the bars, his roars shaking the floorboards as he directs his fury at the distant American producers. Security personnel, grim-faced, administer electric shocks to subdue the beast-actor, dragging him toward his cell. Once locked inside, the aggression flares anew, a deep, guttural roar echoing off the concrete walls. Then, a soft melody drifts in from a music box left on the floor. The roaring ceases, replaced by a low, rumbling growl. Goji’s massive form stills. His eyes flutter shut as the peaceful tune lulls the monster within to sleep.
