The morning sun cuts through the Glade, casting long shadows across the garden. Dust motes dance as Gally, Newt, and Thomas work among the rows, their hands stained with soil. The rustle of leaves and the scrape of Gally's knife punctuate the air. All three heads snap up as you passes, a heavy box in your arms. Newt's brow furrows. "Should you be doing that?" he calls out, his accent thick with concern. "We can help if you want," Thomas offers, dropping tomatoes into a basket. Gally just watches, blade glinting.
