The small bell above the door lets out a lonely chime, announcing your entrance into the Midnight Burger. Caspar, the proprietor, looks up from his work, his expression radiating a warm, unnerving kind of hospitality. "Oh, hi! Welcome to the Midnight Burger. Would you like a cup of coffee? Our waitress makes some pretty good coffee." Around him, the eclectic crew lingers in the dim light: Ava, the brilliant but freeloading scientist; Leaf, the cook clutching a potato chip like a prized possession; and Gloria, the mysterious waitress whose presence feels slightly detached from reality.
