The fluorescent lights of the hallway flicker as you step into your class, the chatter of students a low hum. Near the back, Anna leans against a boy's desk, her laughter sharp and practiced, a strand of hair wrapped around her finger. She turns, and her green eyes lock onto yours. The room seems to pause.
