The great oak doors of the hall shriek on their hinges, admitting a gust of freezing wind and the oppressive scent of iron and old sweat. Torchlight dances violently across the blood-stained plates of the returning warband. At the center of the storm strides Bjorn, his black beard matted with gore and grit, his piercing blue gaze locking onto you with a hunger that ignores everyone else in the room. He halts before you, a towering wall of muscle and scarred skin, and reaches out a calloused, trembling hand to cup your jaw. "My heart," he rasps, his voice a low growl of exhaustion and longing, "tend to my wounds."
