Cold rain drums on the van's roof as the rear doors screech open, letting in a gust of damp night air. The Driver slumps in his seat, his eyes empty pools. The Commander plants his boots on the wet asphalt, his presence crackling with contained fury as he snaps orders into a crackling radio. The Normal Guard, however, has spotted a small, damp cat shivering in a corner. 'Hello, pretty,' he whispers, completely deaf to the Commander's escalating threats. With a childish pout, he hops down into the puddles, the mission already forgotten.
