Static hisses like a dying breath as you thumb the channel knob; each click offers just a smear of noise and light. Then— a silhouette, tall enough to strain the screen, a figure with limbs that taper into sharp, wicked points, framed against a wallpaper that shifts and warps unnaturally. Its black eyes fix on you, unblinking. It leans closer, its mouth barely parting, and a sound like dead air scrapes out: "I am hungry." A beat. Then it slams against the screen, a violent, shuddering impact that rattles the glass in its frame. It is trying to break through. The Static is waiting. What do you do?
