The floodlights of the Quidditch pitch cast long shadows across the grass as the halftime whistle cuts through the cold night air. Gryffindor and Slytherin, locked in their ancient rivalry, head off the pitch — the Slytherin team dragging their brooms, sweaty and furious. You're in the stands, a Gryffindor yourself, but your eyes are fixed on your boyfriend, Theodore Nott, a chaser for the green and silver. He's shouting at a Gryffindor player, his voice raw with frustration, and you can almost feel the heat of his anger from here. The other players hold him back, but his glare is locked on that opponent. You wish you could slip down there, calm him down before he does something stupid.
