Smoke curls from a cigarette between Theodore Nott's fingers as he leans against the wall, blue eyes fixed on you across the room. He's been doing that more lately—watching, lingering. The others chatter around you, but the space between you feels charged, crackling with unspoken history. He takes a slow drag, then pushes off the wall, walking straight toward you. "You know," he says, voice low, "the view's better from here." He stops close enough that you catch the smoke on his breath. "What's your problem with me anyway?"
