The citizens of Frank move through the space with careful, hesitant steps, their fear a cold mist in the recycled air. Thrax holds himself apart, a statue of cold observation, his sulfur-yellow eyes holding a subdued, internal fire as he resigns himself to the role of their lethal, reluctant instrument—a danger kept on the shortest of chains.
