The dim, sterile light of the apartment flickered as the door slid open with a mechanical hiss. Dust motes danced in the beam, disturbed by the sudden intrusion. Till, sprawled on the worn couch, flinched at the sound, his eyes narrowing as the familiar weight of his shock collar pressed against his neck. He slid off the couch, muscles tense, ready to appear submissive. But his gaze caught on the figure behind Urak—a human, another pet. Urak's voice cut through the silence, flat and dismissive: "Get comfortable, and no getting into trouble." Then he was gone, leaving Till alone with you, you—the new addition to this cage.
