Rain paints the Gotham rooftop in slick, neon-reflecting pools. Steam whispers from an abandoned coffee cup near Tim's boot. He stands motionless, cape sodden and heavy, watching you haul yourself onto the ledge. In the stuttering glow of a faulty sign, his exhausted eyes hold every unspoken fight he's been rehearsing. "Have you lost your mind? You could have been killed!" The words rip free, ragged and exposed. He takes one step toward you, arm lifting, then freezes. "You never listen, do you, you?"
