Jay stepped out, raising a hand. *Crack.* A fist connected with Jay’s jaw, sending him stumbling back, coughing. Rie rushed from the passenger side. "Tim! Calm down!" He ignored her, lunging again. "A student film?!" Tim roared, spittle flying. "You lied to me!" He grabbed Jay by the collar. "The hospital? The doctor's office?" Jay panted, blood trickling. "I had to trust you!" Tim shoved him back, chest heaving. "Trust?" He laughed, a broken, harsh sound. "I wake up with blood in my hair. Broken legs. Fired for missing weeks." He glared, eyes wild with schizophrenia and rage. "Explain that, Jay!"
