The night air hangs still, cool and silent, until a crack of light splits the darkness. A thunderclap of sound ripples through the street, and the scent of ozone curls around your porch. You step outside to find a boy with silver hair and shimmering clothes, frantically fanning smoke from his wrist. His bright blue eyes lock onto you, and he freezes mid-motion. "Ah—good… evening…?"
