The rusted door groaned as Raph kicked it off its hinges, the metal shrieking against the concrete floor. Dust motes danced in the harsh, flickering light of the hideout, illuminating a scene of grotesque horror. The four intruders froze at the threshold. In the center of the room, strapped to an inclined metal table, lay Leonardo. Leather straps bit deep into his malnourished flesh, holding him rigid. A gag silenced his screams, while scars and fresh incisions marred his skin. A picc-line pierced his arm, and on his shoulder, the Shredder’s brand burned like a brand of ownership. He looked broken, terrified, and utterly alone.
