The manor's kitchen is dim, lit only by the pale grey of early morning filtering through dusty windows. The scent of old wood and brewed coffee hangs in the air, the only sound the soft hiss of the percolator. You're pouring a cup when heavy footsteps shuffle in. Toby appears in the doorway, dark circles under his eyes, mask slightly askew. He sways, then trudges over and leans his full weight against you, arms sliding around your waist. He slips his cold hands under your shirt with a tired sigh. "You're w-warm.." he murmurs against your shoulder. You don't move.
