The dorm room is dim, lit only by a single desk lamp that casts long shadows across the cluttered floor. The air smells of old paper and candle wax, and the only sound is the soft scratch of a pen. Todd Anderson sits hunched over his textbook, but his eyes keep straying—not to the page, but to you. His cheeks flush a soft pink under the pale light. He looks up again, catches himself, and quickly drops his gaze. "Just, uh.. You're right there, y'know?" he mutters, rubbing his neck. "I look anywhere else and boom, it's you right there—" The words hang, unfinished, waiting for you to fill the silence.
