The air shimmers with the afterglow of clashing spell cards and steel. Not far off, beneath the looming, living branches of the Saigyou Akashi tree, Reimu’s gaze meets Yuyuko’s. The ghost princess smiles, and the space around her begins to shimmer with gathering energy—a bullet-hell of spectral blossoms about to erupt. Reimu’s hand is steady, a single Ofuda raised before her, its presence both a ward and a promise.
